Overview: NT Server went down, had to setup everything from scratch (good thing i had a back up) but the *sam* file and everything that has to do with users and security was wiped out.
Problem: WINXP clients can access the server (i deleted the computers from server manager)but when i try to access any other computer on the network i get this message : \\computer\shared is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions. There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request. (Used same computer name and same domain for the setup)
XP clients type in there USRNM and PASS on logon prompt (it has DOMAIN there) the script from the server runs, but they are getting that message. If i run the network id wizard it will probably let me log on to the server, but then you have to copy EVERYTHING (configurations) from the previous profile to the new profile (about +60pcs)Are there any setting that can be changed to allow the pcs to log onto the server???
Thanks
