No local delivery - or listener 1

I have just bumped into Postfix on a Mandrake box. I have configured a smart relay in main.cf but now ALL local mail gets forwarded to the relay. I also appear to have no listener for incoming mails on port 25. Any help gratefully received.

OK - the listener problem was easy but I still cannot get postfix to stop routing local mail out to the relay

Does your "transport"-table hold something like that:
mydomain.com local:
.mycomain.com local:
?
