We installed a 5U version of SmallBusinessServer2K on a Dell server that only had the Dell setup software for Server2K and but now are trying to add more CALs but Licensing in Admin Tools can't be entered. It says to go to the Start Menu and click on Manage Server - however there is nothing like that when we try to do so. We can't seems to find anyting to tell us just how many users are licensed now and how to add more!

There's no MANAGE SERVER at the top of the Start Menu?

Seems like something went bad on your server. Did you follow all of the installation wizards all of the way through?

We think we did! Should we run Repair or do a complete reinstall? Unfortunately, we have setup 40 computers and 40 users on Active directory. If we start all over, is there a way of saving or retaining this effort?

start>search for *.msc

You should find itprosbsconsole.msc

double click on it, it will bring up server management.

Start, Help. You'll be surprised what's there. A+/MCP/MCSE/MCDBA

If you cant find the .msc that SeaSpray indicates - then the chances are something went wrong during install - did you run thru the full SBS install by clicking the Continue Setup icon on the desktop after the first disk install???
