im running win3k and have 3 hard disk drives attached. cmos detects all 3 windows is showing all 3 in the system settings but it is only assigning letters to 2 of them. i have restarted and shut down several times but still no drive letter. everything was fine up until this morning. any ideas??thanks

I assume you are using Win2K not 3K (unless I have missed the past 1000 years).
Go to the disk managment console & the disk should be in there. If it is coming up as unallocated the disk requires formating. If not you should be able to assign a letter to the drive by right clicking on the drives partition information & selecting Change Drive letter & Path.
Good luck
