no ip vendor in town

I am a nortel guy and partner and merlin. customer inn town has a three year old ip office with pri. needs it moved and set up with new telco. they have no passwords. there is no local ip office guy in town. is this something I can tackle
even with vendor phone support? I have benn in biz about 30 years

Use hyperterminal, connect it to the DTE port and type

AT-SECURITYRESETALL

What will this do to any additional software they may have purchased i.e. voice mail or PRI codes etc?

Almost Absoultly Nothing

It will reset all the system passwords to defaults so you should be able to easily access the system

it "might" cause problems with the Voicemail in the unlikly senario that the previous maintainer changed the Voicemail password (& no one ever does!)
likewise ccr might get thrown if a new user account had been set up for it to log on with.

All cfg & licences remain intact
