I am trying to get outlook 97 to work on a win2k pro workstation.

I have installed office 97. However when I go to tools/services in outlook to configure the account for the user I cannot install the internet mail service. It is not even an option. I have configured the users PAB and PST and also the outlook address book.

I have tried removing and reinstalling office 97. Also I have tried to add the intenet mail service via the add ins manager option in tools/options general tab.

If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

thanks

kenny

yes ....when i goto tools/services and click the add button internet mail is not on the list to install. However when I do the same thing on a 98 client it is there. It seems as though it has something to do with win2k pro.

there is only one profile and it does not have the exchange server or internet mail configured.

the problem is that i want to configure internet mail but when i select tools/service and click add there is no internet mail option. (internet mail is not even in the list of things to add)
