no internet access from 2003 server

Hi Guys

I can no longer get onto the net from my windows 2003 server, I can see packets being let out by my checkpoint firewall but I cannot conenct to a website or ping any websites, is this due to a security setting? It was working a month or so ago,

I am really desperate on this one.

dns issue? can you ping yahoo.com and or 216.109.112.135?

Ping each hop from the server in turn-eg switch, firewall/gateway, router, dns server etc.
What error do you see?
