I screwed up and had inadvertently put
<meta name=&quot;robots&quot; content=&quot;noindex,nofollow&quot;>
into my code on the index page and others. I guess I did on purpose not knowing what I was doing.
Any how, could this be a contributing factor as to why I dropped like a rock on search engines.

If so how long will it take to pounce back. I changed the code. Will spiders be visiting anytime soon. I tried to give it about a month and I am not seeing any movement.

Any help will be great. I feel like I just can't seem to get it right.

Hi mate,

If it's the major engines, then this is exactly the reason you were dropped. Some smaller engines ignore robots.txt and robots meta tags.

As for the timescale you will have to wait, this could be a few months, it really is just a case of waiting unless you want to pay for inclusion to some of the SE.

Hope this helps

Wullie

Would I need to relist them for the majors or just wait it out?

Thanks Wullie, I appreciate your help!
Have a great holiday.
