Incoming email traffic has dropped to zero. When I send myself a test email, it doesn't come back. Would this be a good time to re-install Outlook Express? Was it possibly corrupted? Thank you.

No incoming emails

I use McAfee anti-virus software. When I press send/receive, nothing happens .. the incoming box just clicks on and off, like there's no email traffic. No error messages ...but since I sent the original help request, I am receiving emails again. Perhaps it was a temporary glitch within the SMTP server. Thank you.
