No IDLE set display

I have a working BCM400 rls 4.0 all patches, got a call that a few of the 7316s displays were not working. The phone works however the display disappears shortly after the ShowTime button is pressed. No errors on the BCM, sets are on multiple cards, DSM16+, 4x16 and G4x16.

Have they tried rebooting the sets? The bcm? If the display's are completely dead maybe they got hit by lightning.(personnaly never saw this on T serie's sets but many times on M set's.)

Do these phones have a MSG indicator on? If they press the show time it should show the time for a few seconds then revert back to the MSG screen.
