Hey, there is no HP Network Port available when trying to setup a print server using Windows 2003 Server, the 64-bit edition. I wanted to use DLC as the protocol... Can this be done with 2003???

Not that I'm aware of. I've typically used IP for HP printers for years - even back in the 2000 days.

Unless I'm mistaken this this "software" based; please follow:
1. Install the HP Printer as a local printer from the Add printer wizard
from Start > Printers and Faxes.
2. After it is installed, Right click the printer and choose Properties.
3. Choose the Port tab.
4. Press Add Ports...
5. Press the New Port Type...
6. Browse to your HP port driver folder locally or on CD to get it installed.
7. Change to the port as you wish.

Cheers,
G
