A user of mine is having trouble with icons one the desktop <br><br>- Can't drag and drop them anymore, they keep on jumping back - <br><br>Ok. My first reaction was, is auto-arrange set for the desktop? Are there any policies set up on this network? What happens if you or someone else logs into that workstation? What happens when the person logs into a different machine?<br><br><<<<As always the standard -- if you are going to play with the registry, BACK IT UP before you start.... statement applies>>>><br>Also, try doing a search on the registry for "arrange" and that should find all the instances of Auto Arrange in the Registry.
