No Drag and Drop

A user of mine is having trouble with icons one the desktop <br><br>- Can't drag and drop them anymore, they keep on jumping back - <br><br>Ok. My first reaction was, is auto-arrange set for the desktop? Are there any policies set up on this network?&nbsp;&nbsp;What happens if you or someone else logs into that workstation?&nbsp;&nbsp;What happens when the person logs into a different machine?<br><br>&lt;&lt;&lt;&lt;As always the standard -- if you are going to play with the registry, BACK IT UP before you start.... statement applies&gt;&gt;&gt;&gt;<br>Also, try doing a search on the registry for &quot;arrange&quot; and that should find all the instances of Auto Arrange in the Registry.&nbsp;&nbsp;Is there any wierd desktops you have running?&nbsp;&nbsp;Is Active Desktop set up?<br><br>Hope this helps,<br>Paul Kincaid
