I have VPN sucessfully installed on mt Win2K Server, when I connect with a Windows 98 client (connected to ISP first) then click on my VPN connection I get the following message.

"No Domain Controller available to validate your password. You may not be able to gain access to some network resources"

I then have a VPN connect but cannot use the network. The account I use does have all the rights because I have tried over the LAN.

Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks

Tony

Make sure no logon screens have been bypassed on the WIN98 system. If a password has been changed recently, logon to the LAN to synchronize the passwords and try again with the VPN. It may be helpful to add your domain DNS server to the connection properties.

Thyanks for your reply, I will try what you suggested

Regards

Tony
