No Display??????

hi there

i put my cpu into my pc with the thermal paste heatsink etc..! and added my agp graphics (as there is no onboard)

i had no ram but when i booted my pc it booted the bios fine and there was display.

then i left my pc for an hour came back went to switch it on and there was no display through my agp card?? the agp graphics works fine as i have tested it after this happend

is there a solution for this problem??

Make sure that everything is seated correctly. Are you getting any post beeps? If you are what are they?
If you aren't getting any post beeps, change your CMOS battery , it may be discharged.
Have you put memory sticks in the system now?

yes i did put one stick of memory in my sysem i have not had any beeps due to not having a system speaker!

You need to connect a system speaker to determine the fault.

nut why would it just not work after it did display???

If the battery was on the way out, you may have just been lucky. If you connect a system speaker & don't get any sort of post beeps, then I suspect that the battery is dead. If you get post beeps & let us know your BIOS manufacturer (ie. Award , etc) we can determine if it is a video fault or something else.
