Hi There Chapps,
Got this issue on a customer system and cant quite fathom what its likely to be, have a support call logged with BT to see what they say.
Basicly, customer is sat on a 2mb BT Yahoo broadband package, using the thompson speedtouch modem. They were getting a no dial tone message on attepmting to connect, i have re-installed the modem and all works frin for a few hours, then they loose the connection again.
Have done this a few times with the same results on every ocasion, I have run full virus and spyware checks on the system and cant find any issues, the BT 56k dial-up connection works fine.
Any suggestions, the modem's ADSL light is flashing, which to me indicates an issue on the line perhaps?
Thanks,
Rob
