Hi,

One of my friends is using a dsl connection. He is experiencing problems in connecting. He contacted tech support and they told him to do dun test it came up with no dialing devices found. They removed drivers from registry and reinstalled them deleted winsock and winsock 2 folders and reinstalled tcp/ip. They then suggested him to get in touch with the computer vendor to get the problem resolved.

He is using windows xp sp1. The adsl modem used is BT Voyager 105.

His computer is not under warranty. so he asked me for help i have checked device manager there is no conflict.

Any help will be appreciated.

thanks.

you need to go into the network connectins settings and create the connection through the wizard...

the wizard is pretty straight forward and will create the dialer connection for you.
