I have a CS1000 with one shelf that has no dial tone. I am able to IDC the cards but get no response on the IDU command.Does this sound like a controller card or maybe a network card issue? Waiting on spre cards to arrive on site.
Problem Scenario :
Digital M3905 sets not working, NDT, also sets fail LD 32 IDU test with NPR503
Re-seating of DLC NT8D02 doesn't fix also there's no XMI001 / XMI002 errors seen for the card reseat
Doing a IDC on the DLC passes OK
Problem described in Nortel BULLETIN ID: 2008008561, Rev 1
This Bulletin says MGCFAA13.LD fixes, but that firmware came with this new switch.
There's 4 IPMG's at this new install and the M3905 sets don't work in any IPMG.
Actual Response :
IDU on M3904 sts fails with NPR503
No XMI001 , XMI002 errors seen when NT8D02 Digital Line Card is reseated.

This problem was escalated to Nortel
Nortel replied with the following:
1. LD 22 REQ prt TYPE pswv to verify that the correct latest firmwares are in service, in particular FPGA
AA13+ C AD46.
2. Verify that Tone and cadence has been programmed on each mediagateway so that tones are generated.
3. Reboot system.
4. If the above does not resolve load the loadware FPGA AA13 again and reboot system.
5. Ensure mediagateways are in the same release of software as the callserver.
Fix::
The Rls 5.00 was re-installed all now OK
Suspect problems with the FPGA AA13 firmware on the original install.
