Hey Gang,
I've downloaded some patches that came up using SUSEWatcher.
Afterwards, I logged in as Root only to discover a YAST Screen is the only thing available to me.
I can make config changes but nothing more. There is no way to launch apps, or even a shell session.
Just the YAST screen.
There are three buttons at the bottom of the page, search, help and close.
after selecting close the window closes out and Im brought back to the log in / sign in page.
This only effects root. I have other user accounts with access to their desktop. they send mail, surf the web etc with no issues.
Any ideas on how to give root access to the once available desktop?
