Hello,

I need to export Cr 8.5 report to create a separate Access 2000 table in an existing database. There is no problem with other data format but "Number".

Single "number" column in my Cr report means no export will be done (just column labels, no records in Access). I wondered if it was numeric data formatting problem but I was likely to test most of them.

I am not very experienced with Cr but maybe somebody can find a solution.

Thanks a lot in advance.

If you don't have any data in the report, I don't think that Crystal will create the field.

Create a formula which contains zero and place it in the report under the number heading, it should produce a column for you.

I have already had proper report in CR with a lot of records enclosed in a few columns. Some of the fields are of 'Number' type and thanks to that I cannot export the report to MS Access via ODBC. I do not want to change anything in my CR report - just simply have it in Access database as a new table.

Should I cancel all numeric-type fields from my CR report, all other remaining data (strings, datas etc.) are transferred properly and a new table is created. Any single numeric field in my CR report makes in impossible. In this case all I have in Access after exporting is a new table with column labels and nothing else. Exactly the same circumstance occurs while exporting to Excel using ODBC.
