I have a board
007v6 - installed and with lines configured
Went to an unassigned port to TTI an analog line - there was no dial-tone.
Previously there had been dial-tone, so clearly something has changed.
I am able to do a list config board, and ensured that the port was available 'u' was displayed
The Avaya persons who manage the switch are not aware of any change, and believed that all that was necessary was to put the correct port number in the field ...
-
I tried to explain that most techs are accessing the ASA and it's procedure to put a butt-set on the 110 block, listen for dial-tone [ensure that it isn't an active number - example - try to place a call] if available complete a TTI using our code as configured for our system [ours is *58]
-
When I put the port info in the port field, yes the phone comes up - I'm concerned about the techs that are doing the work remotely that don't have access to ASA and need to TTI to move phones around.
Can someone help me out .. how to I get that back?
