I have spent a long time creating a database in Access 2000 while the rest of my company uses Access 97. However, we want to move away from 97 because of licencing issues so I suggested we use Access 2000 runtime. Therefore, after developing the database and using the Package and Deployment wizard supplied with Microsoft Office 2000 Developer Edition and then loading the database onto a machine that has 97 on it, everything seemed to go smoothly. However, when I came to open the database, which has a start screen with 3 list boxes on (acting like a heirarchical view - a list box is refreshed depending on what is selected in the previous, each being based on 3 seperate tables) - anyway, when the database is opened I get the message "No Current Record". None of the controls work on the form and the text boxes showing the user, computer name, operating system and date and time are not shown. I cannot find any help on then Microsoft website for this problem so any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

Iain
