No Console No Status 2948G-L3 1

Hi All,

Just got a Cisco 2948G-L3 and it worked fine last night. I i unplugged the device last night before going to bed and after plugging it back in today it does not seem to work.

Im having a hard time troubleshooting the issue as i cannot console into the the device anymore. When i try hyperterminal does not display anything at all, even after rebooting the device.

When the device boots up, the status light turns red for a second then turns off and does not come back on. The RPSU light turns green and the PS1 light is amber for a second during boot up then the RPSU light turns off and the PS1 light turns green.
After boot up there is no status light, and a green PS1 light, still nothing on the console connection.

I have been trolling google all day and cannot find any similar situation. Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Unfortunately, That sounds like a dead switch.
