Installing CE9 on Windows NT4 on the D: drive.
- Went into to the registry, changed default dir to D:prgram files
- installed ce on d: drive, no problems
- select start->programs->ce9->crystal launchpad, launchpad opens no problems
- click on e-portfolio, "page cannot be displayed"
- clear cache, go back to start->programs->ce9->crystal launchpad, LAUNCHPAD CAN'T BE DISPLAYED!!
- open iis, verify that iis is poitning to ce9 web contents directory, no problems
- open browser, put in ce9 admin adx page cannot be displayed

installed ce9 on development box on c: drive no problems, can access all pages locally and via web. Is installing CE9 on any other drive a nogo or do i have another issue??

THANKS!!![noevil]

Do you have another default website set?
I had to move CE from the default of port 80 to 90 on IIS to avoid this problem.

One default website. Are you saying I need to move to a different port?

Hi,

I'm not sure the what the exactly problem is. However, you have several ways to catch it. One is go to CCM to check whether all the related servers working well or not, the other is go to event viewer to see what the error message is. You can post it here after you figure out the exactly problem.

If there is only CE as the default website then you shouldn't have to move to a different port.
If there already is a default website that is not CE then move to a different port to see if this sorts things.
Good advice also from Ted - post up any errors that you have.

CE is not the default website. Ce has a virtual directory on the default website.

Almost narrowed this thing down. If I manually open one of the htm pages it opens fine, but if I open a java page, the executable won't execute. Permissions or java error, anyone?

Thanks!!
