No connection in RecordSet properties 1

Hi

I'm new to Interdev with which I need to create an ASP page that communicates with an SQL database. I think I successfully created the necessary drivers to access this DB (I looked into some similar projects on the same server), since I get the complete table and its contents when double clicking the data command. However, when inserting a recordset component, no connections appear. In the help function there is mentioned that all components that appear in Project Explorer should be in the component list. Is there any component that needs to be added before the RecordSet component can be linked to a DB, or is there another setting that I need to check?

Right mouse click the global.asa file in the root of your project. The menu should include 'add data connection'. Use this to add a connection (and some sql quries too!).

Your server and your pc should have the Interdev Server Extensions installed for this to work.
