I have an Indy here that was working perfectly on my local network. I ran the "improve system security" task, removed some accounts (demos and out-of-box) and now I have no network connectivity. I must say, security was certainly improved.
The machine can ping itself, but cannot talk to any other machines on the network. A network activity monitor running on another machine shows activity when a ping comes from the Indy, but the Indy shows no response, 100% packet loss.
Has anyone experienced this problem? I'm new to irix (have used Solaris and Linux for much longer) and all the obvious stuff looks fine. Is there some little software setting I'm missing?
Thanks...
