No colours/Type ahead in Interdev

When I go into Visual Interdev I do not see different colours for example, green for comments, blue for script, etc. Just wondering if there is a property I have not set or if it is an install problem(I've re-install Interdev and didn't work). I also can not "type reahead" and have Interdev try to fill in the value for me. Have you ever encountered this before?
