no Central Management Server running at port 6400

Hi All
I am getting this message even after having re-initialized the cmsdbsetup process.

message i get

/opt/bo/bobje/ccm.sh -display
Creating session manager...
Logging onto CMS...
err: Error: Couldn't logon to CMS
err: Error description: The system XXXXXX can be contacted, but there is no Central Management Server running at port 6400.
an anyone advise please. I am really in a spot of bother here

Just so you know, i am on a Linux box
 
This has nothing to do with the database. From what the message says, you haven't actually got the CMS service running.
