I have 2 Avaya IP Office 406's on my network both are out of the box configurations. My network is MPLS with VPN backup connection.
The problem is when I point my PBX's to the MPLS link and have it put in the RT class, I lose the call features (caller ID, voicemail, etc..) but the voice still works.
If I put it in the D1 class it works correctly or if I point it to the vpn connection it works correctly.
I think the issue is the marking on the traffic between the PBX's and the routers (Cisco 2810) do not know how the traffic should be marked and remarked when handed back to the PBX.
Any and all thoughts will be appreciated.
Happy Holidays
