No button free, T7316e R3

I have three T7316e on a R3 BCM 50. Each phone has 3 trunks and 2 intercoms. The trunks can be pressed and make a call. But when you press an intercom key you get a tone and 'no button free' The phone is idle at that moment. The rest of the phones have no issue (about 10). I am not certain what could be the trouble. Is a reboot necessary?
 
Do "Feature" *0 for key enquiry and go through all your keys to ccheck that the button labels match what you have. You should have two Intercom keys by default, but this can be changed in programming.

Also check that you haven't got any buttons sticking.

According to the user or BEM/Resources?

Things I would try before a reboot:

-Disable then re-enable the port

-Turn Set Relocation OFF then try a working set in it's place and test

You will then know if it's a phone or a system issue.
I can tell you with all my years of experience it would be one or the other.

I have 4 phones in a hunt group, AA takes all incoming calls. All phones have 2 intercoms for sure. The 4 phones in this hunt group resulted in this condition. Pick up the handset and the phone gives error tone and no button free. Otherwise push a trunk and dial out. No intercom capability. I turned set relocation off, reboot system and trouble returned. 1 of the phones is on an expansion module, the other 3 on the processor. Issue returns daily. In element manager phones are idle.
 
Check the prime line for those extension and see what it’s set to.

Look at a working phone prime line
Then look at the hunt group phones and see what there prime line is set to.

Prime Line: I/C
Intercom Keys: 2
