no boot record found when installing redhat

I am trying to wipe out windows and install redhat from a cd i made online, but I cant boot from my cd, it says no boot record found. how do i get a boot record? I tried this on a couple computers and got no boot record on both.

Here are the contents of my cd, am I missing something?

It sounds like you didnt make your cd from the image (.iso) If you dont make it from the images it wont contain things such as the boot record.

You have to download the ISO and then with you cd creator look for something like Record CD from CD image.

Or if you have a friend with a working cd and you have two cd rom's just use a direct cd copy.

I have an old laptop that will only boot from CD-R media (_not_ CD-RW) using the 'disc-at-once' option (found in the few CD burning programs I've used, both Windows and Linux). I don't know the technical details, but it worked for me.
