I have two OS's on my harddrive (Win98 and Linux Redhat 7.1) The only way I can get into linux is my boot disk. How do I install a boot loader? When I was installing linux I couldn't find the option? Thanks who help

1,

You can run /sbin/lilo as root to install the lilo boot loader. GRUB is another option, but I'm not as familiar with it.

See if simply running /sbin/lilo works. If not, you may need to edit the /etc/lilo.conf file manually before running /sbin/lilo again.

Try the first step first, though, and let me know -- can you tell I'm guessing?
