No Automatic Back Up of Config when Using Manager 1

I am using Manager 9.1.4.0 (137) in a Windows 8.1 laptop.

I looked for the config file from a recent project using Windows Explorer, but I cannot find the .CFG in my Manager folder. Nor can I find most the systems that I have worked on recently.

When I check my Preferences/Security, I see that "Save Configuration File after Load" and "Backup Files on Send" are both checked and grayed out.

What the heck am I missing?

Run Avaya Manager in Administrator mode.

Basically you can do two things to solve it:
1 disable UAC
or
2 Change security settings on "c:\Program Files\" and "C:\Program Files(x86)" to allow all users full rights on the folders.
