No Audio recording with ATI All in Wonder 8500DV

I have an ATI all in wonder Radeon 8500DV with MMC 9.03 (I was using 9.0, but that couldn't record audio either.) I can't record audio with the TV app. I can hear the audio in when I use the TV app. In the setup, for the video settings, I can't select audio and the audio format is grayed out when editing a Recording preset.

Anyone have any ideas? Or What audio drivers need to be installed?
(I've installed DX9, WME, DAO, MMC in that order).

If your card is like mine, AIW 9700, then it doesn't have any audio drivers. It uses the existing audio system. The card has audio output connectors which plug into the audio card.

Since you can hear the TV, the audio connections are set up properly. When I had this problem, it was my error on the audio recording control. You need to access the recording side of your volume control, and select the correct input for recording. Also, be sure the recording volume controls are turned up.
