Good Day I need some assistance, NO AUDIO on calls from Avaya IP Phone 9641G Extension to another extension similar model (9641G). This is network Layout hereunder.
1. Avaya Phone A can call Avaya Phone B when you answer the call their is no audio.
2. If you call the Main Site, from the remote site I am able to get 2 way audio.
3. From the remote site if you call Avaya Phone A to Avaya Phone B the call is connected but no audio, however if you press a random number on the dial pad I am able to get 2 way audio for 10 seconds

If those phones are at the same physical site then I would think that the shuffling of audio would be ok. When you press a digit, a media resource is being grabbed and causes the shuffling to cease (temporarily it seems). I had this behavior last week but it was for users working from home on a new vpn and the vpn IPs weren't set up in the ip-network-map to use the network region where shuffling is disabled.

Thank you for this information can you point me in the right direction on this "vpn IPs weren't set up in the ip-network-map to use the network region where shuffling is disabled"

How to setup ip-network-map to use the network region where shuffling is disabled?

My environment is pretty simple so the setup is likewise. Look at your ip-network-regions, I set one up just for vpn users that basically mimics the settings for the main region but on page 1 of the form I set IP-IP Direct Audio to No. Then added an entry in the ip-network-map with the IP range that is being handed out by the vpn concentrator to home users and define the new network region to be used on that range.

You can test by making explicit entries in the map for a couple of users/IPs and see if their calls work better.

Just an update I did packet captures and can hear voice when playing the captures on wireshark. I suspect the issue is coming from the checkpoint firewall.
