No audible ring in offhook mode?

Anyone experience this defect with the TDA product? I am being told by tech support that the TDA does not support ringing in the offhook mode, only a beep every so many seconds. WHat if the reception is in a loud environment?

Any thoughts?

true you get a beeb beeb beeb if co call waiting is enabled!
wire up the attendant to a hybrid ext and add a ringer
to
that jack and add it to the icd group....

Huh? Did you turn on call waiting? It soft rings 3 short beeps and continues about every 8 seconds and your C.O. light blinks green all the time it's ringing.

I know about the beeps & the soft rings...I was just looking for a way to make the offhook ring louder. The suggestion of cwc3. Will try it.
