Had working AS 6.61 for Windows NT Server 4.0 (+SP6a), installed AS 2000 (setup detected existing product and performed upgrade). After upgrade found all databases (media, job, device) empty, no media pools and no jobs in queue except db pruning.
Tried initializing all databases - got "unable" messages on every one of them.
Tried creating GFS backup job but nothing happend when job submitted - no media pools created, job did not appear in list. (Luckily I can create a 'regular' daily backup without GFS)
Also, since upgrade db pruning job fails with EC 4101 unable to log on to database engine (DATABSE=ARCSERVE EC=-2005).
Tried complete uninstall, reboot, clean reinstall to another location, reboot again, but ended up in the same place (twice).
Product has been licenced and re-licenced using RegisterIT during each reinstall.
Any suggestions??
