Hi there,
I am a user with no local support for this system, so have to do it all myself.

I have the AA set up with 3 incoming lines. Usually we have no problem, but it appears that when CO 1 is in use, any unanswered incoming calls will continue to ring and not go to voice mail.

Conversely, we think if CO2 or 3 are in use, other unanswered incoming calls WILL go to voice mail.

Any ideas?

if line one is in a different trunk group just copy
destination for intercept routing to the trunk groups that are answering corectly.

Is there a quick way to describe how I check that? I haven't had much luck in the manuals yet.

you need a cheat sheet for program codes and you are looking
for intercept routing code and I am not looking in the dox for you sorry I am ill and if its line 2 and or 3 then most likelythe fix is setting trunk group 2 and 3 which by default line 2 and 3 are in and set that trunk group 2 and 3 to intecept @ ext 165......

answer is in pgm 409-410 i am asuming you have no software

C-dub,
Thanks. I will be able to try this on Monday. And you are correct, I don't have software for the 816, just the hyperterminal for the vp.

just pop in thru keypad and compare trunk group settings in 409 for day and bobs your uncle...

Looks like it was in 409. The problem was that my CO2 and CO3 actually weren't set up to go to voice mail extension. Funny that this problem didn't come up more over 3 years. Thanks for the help.

"bobs your uncle"?
