Hello all,
I have this Avaya CM4.0 (R14X.00.5.742.0) with a CAMA trunk provisioned on port 1 of an MM711 located on V2 in the G700. When placing 911 calls, the PSAP sees 0000000 as the ANI instead of the number that is dialing 911. The call is clear, no static or bad volume. I have 911 set as an ARS (min 3, max 3, type EMER) going to RP 25 which hits trunk 25 with no digit manipulation. I can see the number of the station and the number dialed as 911 when I do a "list trace tac 725" for trunk 25 but all it shows at the PSAP is 0000000. Now, when I remove the pairs of the CAMA trunks from the IDF and connect an ANI Simulator in its place, the PSAP sees the correct number from the ANI simulator which eliminates Telco from the path ... when I reconnect the CAMA trunk and place a call to 911, they see all zeroes. I have even used a CM 5.0 and get the same results, all zeroes. I am wondering if I need to update the systems firmware just for kicks.
I manipulated the CAMA digit analysis tables but no dice. Does anyone here has CAMA trunks and if so, can you throw in a screen shot of how the CAMA trunk is configured along with the CAMA digit analysis and anything else you can think of so I can do a comparison to determine what in the world I am doing wrong and also as an aid in troubleshooting the issue. Thanks guys.
