No Access to Product Activation

I restored my Domain Controller this afternoon. When the restore finished and
I try to log in I get the "Product not activated" message and answer "Yes" to
Activate over the Internet - then my Administrator Account gets logged out.
It does not go the Product Code window at all so I have no way of manually
inputting any new Product code with or without the Microsoft Activation
services.

I sure hope I don't have to piece meal install everything - at least I do
have a backup!

One strange thing is that the Exchange server appears to be working though I
haven't checked whether the BES is working or not...

i have exactly the same problem. w2k3 dc prompts everytime after system restore!

i have tried to restore the original wpa files in windows\system32 folder, but it's not working.

any solution?
