no acceleration

I'm trying to use my ultra 10(333mhz 512meg, ati rage pro) for video production, but I have problems just playing mpg videos and broadband realplay stuff.
I though the rage pro has grahpics acceleration, and the ultra chips have VIS to improve video playback.
All I am getting is extremeily slow playback(~12fps)
I've installed opengl and all the lastest patchs for solaris 8.
Am I missing and config settings. thanx.

Or do I need a creator 3D card.(hope not to expensive)

I think u may need a creator card or above. Not to sure.
Never tried to playback movies on a sun machine.
