hi all,

i've found so much company selling jdbc driver ...

i'd like your opinion about the best JDBC driver for MS SQL server 7 that could support SQL server and NT authentication.

Do you also know what is the most famous one ?

tell me what's your favorite and why please, that could help me to find the best one.

Best regards X-),
Elise

I haven't used many of the JDBC drivers for SQL Server/NT, so I wouldn't like to comment, but have you taken a look at the list of JDBC drivers on the java.sun.com website? There's quite a list, most of which aren't free for SQL Server, but are available as time-limited/restricted version.

yes i looked first at the sun site, they give many sites.

i think that the 2 best i've found are :

i-net software SPRINTA

and

netdirect JDataConnect Best regards X-),

Thinking about it, I did use the NetDirect driver and found it less than useful! It took ages to get to work (kind of!) then caused no end of problems! I eventually moved to using mySQL, which has free (and very good) JDBC drivers available.

Regards

okay so in your point of view i shouldn't use the netdirect one ? okay i gonna have a look at the other so.

well for the database, i know what you said but my company needs to use MSSQL server :( Best regards X-),
