Just received a BCM200 version 3.5 and naturally we do not have the nn_admin password but only the ee_admin which only gives access to basic stuff.

Is there a way we could reset the nn_admin password or should I get a new disk with a newer release installed.

Steph (RCTelecom Inc.)

There isn't any nn_admin Password in a 3.5 it is supervisor/

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

Well, the provided documentation indicates nn_admin & ee_admin but anyway.... even if the userID is supervisor, I would still need to reset its password....

Is there a way I could do it from a digital phone or telnet connection... any hints will be appreciated

nnadmin is for BCM 4.0. No u can't reset it via a set. U need to either involve Nortel or reimage the HD.

The DOC's are on the BCM and you don't need the password to read them. The default passwords are listed there.
