NMAS and NT Synchronization problems

I have started using NMAS authentication and have noticed that on any clients that have the 4.9 client with NMAS enabled, that when they are prompted to reset their password every month their Novell and NT passwords don't synch up correctly. I can resolve the problem by unchecking the NMAS authentication box, but this isn't my desired fix for this problem.

Any ideas?
