nlnotes event id 1000

A client has a system that crashes up to 5 times a day and the event id is 1000 appliaction error. I've uninstalled and re-installed and she still has the problem. I had to manually delete the notes folder after the uninstall so I'm thinking maybe I should delete the Lotus registry key from HKLM. Any suggestions?

Hi,

In this case I would format the HD and re-install the OS.
Then add Notes first.
Then add other applications slowly.

As soon as it goes wrong you will know which program interferes with Notes. If all goes fine then some unnecessary program was causing the problem and is now gone.

Alternatively:
Check out all the programs that start when the machine starts and disable as much of them as possible.
