NLB not bound - Network load balancing

I am trying to configure windows server 2003 network load balacing. I have two servers running windows 2003 with one nic in each of them.

I have created a NLB cluster, and am able to add the other server to the cluster. but when I am trying to add the host server where I am configuring NLB, I get NLB not bound.

what does this mean. where am I going wrong. do I need to have two nics in the server where NLB is configured.

make sure that the nlb protocol in set/ticked in nic properties. reboot

Actually I fixed the issue by enabling the second NIC card and setting NLB in it. there is an excellent tutorial explaining NLB in W2K3. I followed this one to configure my NLB.
