I have a problem with NIU2 flash disk capacity.
Flash is Sandisk 128 MB.
System is BC12, started from INL.
Programming is performed, and when I was doing first DUSYI,
all went wrong.

FISCP:IODEV=SYSDISK1;
FILE SYSTEM CAPACITY DATA
TOTAL DISK SPACE: 122 MBYTES
SUBFS: SYSSUBFS11
KBYTES FILES
TOTAL AVAIL TOTAL MOUNTED
61440 243816 15000 /SYSN/USR1
SUBFS: SYSSUBFS21
KBYTES FILES
TOTAL AVAIL TOTAL MOUNTED
61440 243828 15000 /SYSN/USR2
END

As you can see, AVAIL field is wrong, and even after formating (FIMOE,FICRI,FIMOI,...), wrong data is there.

System was operational but reports NO BACKUP, CIL ERRORS, ....
Finaly, system reloaded due to power failure, and couldn`t start.

I`ve used this flash disk on another NIU2, and all is OK.
I`ve upgraded NIU2 to R19A, didn`t helped.

Anyone has a clue?

I'm a bit confused here:

R19A = latest NUI(1) software
R10A = latest NIU2 software

can you tell what went wrong with the first DUSYI ?

You`re right about NIU and NIU2. Mine is NIU(1) with flash, so revision is OK. We`re calling NIU with flash NIU2 and NIU with HDU is just NIU (sorry!)

I don`t remember exactly how my colegue noticed this flash available capacity was wrong.
Anyway, this situation lasted for about one year.
We have planed to replace NIU, but never had the chance to do it, until MD crashed.

Anyway, everything worked OK except FLASH related features (dump, cil).

Hi
Please do a cnbip on the NIU, honestly, I have never heard of a NIU1 with Flash? As far as I know the NIU2 is the only one with Flash?
