I am very new to Merlin 2.0. I am reinstalling a used Merlin system and using just about all of the old configuration. I changed the voice prompts and used existing extention numbers. The system was used in a shop that is run exactly like ours to most of the system works fine the way it is. When switched to NiteService all of the prompts VM, and everything works great. But during the day when a call comes into the main line and is not answered the call just rings at the console. I was able to make the console go to VM after a number of rings but it only announces 'Operator' and not the coverage items. Any help is appreciated. I did my best to read all the posts here, but some are for newer versions which are a little misleading in the old system. I do have the Merlin software and did correctly connect it to a PC. In one post 'inspect' was offered but I do not see that button. Any help is appreciated.
