nite service

I have a ACS 4.0...w/ vm nite service controlled by the
NS button on the console....problem is lately when the
button is set for NS...it appears like the system is Not in
NS....we have reseated the processor mod and it seemed to
clear the problem for awhile....now its back...I suspect
the software is corrupt or the card is going bad....any
ideas..thanks in advance.

Hi Chadoe1,
Check your hunt schedule and delay settings. If they are okay, save the program to your PC & wipe the system. Then reload.

thank you for the info....what has me wondering about is this system has been up & running for a couple of years
with no problems....It could have taken a power hit and
damaged the procresor...one other little note..I started
having trouble w/ RA...I changed the backup/modem card and
still same prob. I can can call RA and it will answer, but
the ACS modem will not connect. I have another acs r.4 on its way...

Chadoe1,
When was the last time you did a manual backup? It is possible the programming was changed and a restore from the manual backup will restore proper operation. The backup is date stamped (auto & manual). This may be an easy fix.
