A client has called in with this issue:
When the receptionist turns on Nite Service (871) from her extention-it appears to work correctly- if you call the main #'s of the location the AA nawers on 0 rings and if you enter an ext , it will x-fer and ring at that station the assigned amount of times before going to the user's MB.
If you call a users DID while Nite Service is on, it will ring at the receptionist set, (instead of the set it is assigned to) ( Console-Control Set) 4 times before going to the GD mailbox instead of the users mailbox.
The lines assigned to the Nite service are only the locations main #'s and the only DN'S in the ring group are the console set and Call Pilot DN.
obviously I need only the main lines assigned to the service to go to AA direct after Hrs. and the DID'S to ring at their assigned sets and go to the user'sailbox as they would during regular hours all the time , whether services are turned on or not.
Am I just missing something stupid?
Any suggestions would be appreciated,
Thanks!

Go into "For Sets" under Services->Common Settings->Control Sets and clear every extension that you don't want to be controlled by the control set.

By default all target lines are assigned to ring group 001.

Simplest way is to assign your main number target line to ring group 2 and add the extns you want to ring there.
