In linux we have file /etc/ypserv.conf ... how about in solaris 7 & 8 ? is there similar files?

It has been a while since I worked with Linux, so I don't recall exactly how /etc/ypserv.conf operates, but you may be looking for the file /var/yp/securenets in Solaris.
